I didn't have any plans on making this figure until I read someone's letter to ToyFare saying that publication should offer an exclusive Hellstorm figure since we're not really likely to ever see one at retail (Wal-Mart isn't big on splashing the word "Satan" on many things).  So, it came to me that a Hasbro Marvel Legends body and head, along with ToyBiz Marvel Legends Kraven's (Sinister Six boxed set) arms, and ToyBiz Marvel Legends Black Panther's cape would do for the figure itself.  That left me with just the trident to figure out.  After trying to sculpt one myself, I realized I had a bunch of the new Mattel Masters of the Universe figures laying around and that Mer-Man's trident would fit the bill with just a little work.  Hellstorm's belt and boottops were sculpted with Aves Apoxie Sculpt and the pentagram in his chest was carved in using my Dremel and a small cutting ball attachment.  His hair, skin, and cape are all drybrushed to add depth and some degree of realism.
