Quicksilver

Pietro here was made from a ToyBiz Marvel Legends Bullseye figure with a ToyBiz Marvel Legends Doctor Strange for the head.  Both figures were really easy to get at the time because the Wal-Mart in my town has a fairly crappy toy dept. that had these two figure warming pegs for a little over a year at the same price the whole time while Wal-Marts in neighboring towns moved on to new ML series.  It's called "clearance."  It's what you do to get rid of products that no one wants anymore.  Anyway, I Dremelled down Doc Strange's facial hair and in doing so, encountered my first (but not last) run in with the dreaded Dremel-slip.  Yep, I shaved Strange's lips pretty much right off.  So, I had to resculpt the lips as well as Quicksilver's trademark "hair antenna."  The thing I learned most from this is that it takes approximately 3-4 million coats of white to cover black in any meaningful way and about two coats of blue to do the same.
